College Levels Minor In Arabic
The Department of Modern Languages at Marygrove College, in partnership with Language Learning Center has a dual enrollment program in Arabic Language for High School students. The program is called Arabic Foreign Language and Arabic Heritage Language and it is intended to prepare students to reach proficiency level in Modern Standard Arabic. The main goal is the advancement and use of essential reading, speaking, writing, and listening Arabic language skills. Students who complete the program through the advanced level have the opportunity to earn 3 to 12 college credits that can be transferred to any college or university as long as students earn a grade of C or above. The course tuition is $375 per semester. Note: in order to begin the program, students must have documentation on school testing and signed verification from High School counselor or World Languages coordinator.
